BRAZ-TESOL Santa Catarina Chapter, in partnership with UNESC, will host a face-to-face professional development event on April 18th, at UNESC – Criciúma (SC). BRAZ-TESOL Santa Catarina Chapter UNESC April 18th UNESC – Criciúma (SC) Under the theme “Meaningful Learning, Real Connections,” the event brings together English language teachers, teacher educators, and university students for an afternoon of talks, workshops, and discussions focused on pedagogical practices that promote meaningful learning and authentic connections in the classroom. “Meaningful Learning, Real Connections,” The program will include a plenary session, hands-on workshops, and a closing round table, creating a space for dialogue, reflection, and exchange between school and university contexts. While not centered on technology, the event also acknowledges current educational challenges — including the role of AI — as part of a broader conversation about intentional, human-centered teaching.
